Jerry Edwin Lanham, 53, beloved son, father, brother and uncle, passed away June 4, 2013. Jerry was born in Greenville, Texas, on May 18, 1960, and passed away June 4, in Houston.
Memorial Services were held at the Addison Funeral Home in Spring, Texas, with a celebratory gathering at The Hydes in Old Town Spring, immediately following.
Jerry’s passions in life were the love of his motorcycle, hot air balloons and boat racing – and anything that surrounded him with his family and friends. He was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Jerry is survived by: his daughter, Joy Allison Lanham; stepdaughter, Brooke Schneider, her husband, Tim, and son, Maverick; sister, Lynn Guzman; and father and mother, Bryant and Lita Lanham. He is also survived by nephews: Cody Guzman, wife, Taryn, and son Wyatt; Jeremy Guzman, wife, Krystle, and children, Carter, Kesler and Kylie; and Heath Guzman; along with many other relatives and friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Van and Orbie Bloodsworth, and William Edwin and Mary Lanham.
Jerry loved life and often said “What a wonderful world” and “Don’t worry about a thing. Every little things gonna be alright.”
Jerry will forever be missed in our hearts. Goodbye for now, “Our Son.”
