In 1996 she moved to Fort Worth next door to her daughter and grandsons. She volunteered at Harris Methodist South West Hospital for over 11 years in the gift shop and for fundraisers for a total of 7,200 volunteer hours.

She will be missed for now but greatly loved by her daughter, Glenda R. Ostrokol, Fort Worth; grandsons: Michael Ostrokol (Robyn) of Roanoke, Matthew Ostrokol and wife Jesslyn of Balch Springs; niece, JoAnn Voigt, (who helped take care of her the past two years); Bobbie Southerland; aunt, nieces, nephews and extended family.
