Truman Harvey Lewallen, 65, passed away March 9, 2013, at home with his brother by his side. Truman was born June 4, 1947, in Mineral Wells, the son of James and Bobbie Lewallen.
He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells, where he was a son of the American Legion Post 75 and Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 2399. He worked for Cantex and retired from there.
Memorial service was 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Bishop Cemetery in Lipan. Family and friends were invited to be escorted by American Legion Post 75 Bikers. Escort was at 1 p.m., April 28, at the American Legion Post 75 parking lot.
He is survived by four brothers: Maurice (Buster) Lewallen, and wife, Louise; Bobby Don Lewallen and wife, Debra; Jimmy Lewallen; and Charles Lewallen and wife, Steffey. Uncle Frankie Beck and wife, Judy; Aunt Sissy Scroggins; Aunt Mary Doll Henderson and husband, Mike. Best friend Robert Strawbridge. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
