LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Send letters to the editor at editor@mineralwellsindex.com.

Dear Editor,

I want to not only thank Mineral Wells Police Department, but tell y’all I have truly been blessed with the best of the best police department of all time.

These men and woman go out of their way to make sure our streets, neighborhood and town are safe for everyone. Some people just don’t quite grasp the concept of how truly hard-working Mineral Wells police officers are. Yes, they wear uniforms but that doesn’t stop them from being just like you. They deserve thanks, gratitude and respect. I might be 24 years old, but I’ve never broken the law. I obey the law, because in case you didn’t know, that makes their jobs easier and puts a smile on their faces, knowing they don’t have to ruin your day. Obeying the law makes their day.

Mineral Wells Police Department and officers, I truly am thankful for each and everyone of you. I am going to try a name a few, but know this – I am thanking each and every one of y’all: Officer Brandon Glover; Officer Brayden Gregory; Officer Thomas Lively; Officer Penny Judd; Officer Wesley Hill; Officer Matt Dunsworth; Officer James Brown; Officer Chase Kisman; and dispatchers Debbie, Christine, Brenda and Jesse.

Thank y’all so much. I love y’all. Happy Thanksgiving.

Mineral Wells Police Department Back The Blue supporter,

Amanda Gentry, Mineral Wells
