Montgomery draws support

Dear Editor,

To my friends in Palo Pinto County, I want to encourage you as the election nears to prayerfully consider voting for Ricky Montgomery as sheriff of Palo Pinto County.

I am confident you will be blessed by his leadership, his experience and his integrity. His desire to serve others, to seek their best interests and to protect quality of life have distinguished him as a great law man in the state of Texas.

His experiences are vast and they prove to be a benefit to the unique challenges of law enforcement in Palo Pinto County. Any confidence given to Ricky will be well placed. He is a friend, a brother, and will no doubt be a great sheriff for you.

Respectfully,

William Eudy, Shallowater, Texas

Bradshaws back Burnett for DA

Dear Editor,

Please let us take this time to voice our opinion for the race of District Attorney.

We know many people are supporting Mike Burns. We like Mike. He’s a good guy. But, quite frankly, we don’t feel like he’s doing his job. We want to 100 percent place our support for Kriste Burnett.

Kriste is an important member of our community. She was a great assistant DA until she was wrongly terminated.

She will fight for children against abuse and prosecute people who abuse our children. She is an aggressive prosecutor. She cares about this community. If you want a county DA who wants to work, who wants to try cases, who wants to bring cases and try those cases, who wants to try more than 12 cases per year, if you want a candidate who is supported by the majority, if not all, of the law enforcement officers in this county, VOTE KRISTE BURNETT for DISTRICT ATTORNEY!

Sincerely,

Mitch and Leslie Bradshaw, Mineral Wells
