Student field days coming up

PERRIN – There will be a wedding shower for Hannah Brumfield and her fiancée, Travis Ashley, on Saturday, May 12, at the Perrin Church of Christ in the Fellowship Room from 2-4 p.m. They are registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target and Walmart. For more information, contact Sherri Brazeal or Renee Francis.

Congratulations to the Perrin softball team as they won bi-district winning games against Electra, 7-0 and 18-1. They advanced to the area round and played Ralls Friday and Saturday at Abilene Christian University in a best-of-three series.

Congratulations to Jake Hall who placed second at the regional Computer Science contest. He will be traveling to Austin for the state academic meet.

On Friday there will be a field day for the kindergarten to second graders. They will be in the GT building or at the football field all day. On May 16, the third- through sixth-grade students will participate in their field day. The fifth and sixth grade year-end reward trip to the Texas Rangers game is May 17.
