Saturday's the day for Adell VFD fish fry

PERRIN – The annual Adell-Whitt VFD fish fry is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $9.50 adults, $4.50 ages 4-12 and 0-3 years are free. There will be door prizes and silent and live auctions. They will have two drawings, for $1 tickets to win a gas weed trimmer and for $2 ticket to win a Troy built riding lawn mower. You need not be present to win.

The Ag students will be having a plant sale in Jacksboro at the Fitzgerald Services building on U.S. Highway 281 just south of town on Saturday, April 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will also have a sale at the school in Perrin on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fred went up to the school last week and purchased some tomato plants and some flowering plants.
