Signs of approaching summer all around

By Kay Mealio | kaymealio@embarqmail.com

PERRIN – You realize that summer is just around the corner when garage sales, graduation announcements and vacation Bible schools begin to pop up.

I forgot to make note last week of the Perrin Memorial Day service which is this Sunday, May 20, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Perrin Memorial Garden. Zip Brazeal from the Perrin Church of Christ will be in charge of services with Jim Minton leading the opening prayer and Wesley Wright leading the closing prayer. Make sure you bring a folding chair for the ceremony.

Our condolences to the family of Martha Osteen who passed away Friday, May 11. Graveside service was Tuesday, May 15, at 2 p.m. at Perrin Memorial Garden.
