Perrin students raise $800 for 'Pennies for Patients'

PERRIN – The Perrin-Whitt second grade class raised the most money this year for the Student Council “Pennies for Patients” program that helps the Leukemia foundation find a cure. They raised $429.16 throughout the year. Thank you to all who participated this year. Perrin school raised over $800 for this program.

U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local communities to serve free summer meals for any child under age 18. There are no income requirements. Meals will be served Monday-Thursday June 4 through July 9 in the Perrin School cafeteria. Breakfast is 8-8:30 a.m.; lunch is 11:30 am.-12:30 p.m. For more information contact Lonna Ramsey at (940) 798-3845.
