Reflections on low down, dirty politics

Well, this is the season, isn’t it?  The season for elections.

It’s taken a long time for it to get here this year, what with the federal government sticking their nose into Texas politics, but now we are about to have our two elections.

The city election will be on May 12, the normal time for city elections, but our county, state, and national primaries will not come until May 29, way, way after normal.  Why, we even had to hold party primaries before the primary elections!  Thanks, all you guys who made this a crazy year!
