I know the world sometimes goes crazy over the idea of pollution. And there are occasions when we, as those who have dominion over the earth, don’t do a very good job of it.
But the kind of pollution I want to discuss is not gummed up rivers, oil spills on oceans, smog over the cities, or trash in our street although, I suppose, there is plenty of that to go around.
The kind of pollution I want to talk about is noise pollution. As I sit and write this piece, I hear a lawn mower, a leaf blower, and neighbors laughter. Now, those things, for the most part, are part of our day-to-day, daytime activities, and we should probably not feel too annoyed about them...although I must say that lawn mower sounds like it’s about to attack my fence and come into my back yard.
