Reflections on baking bread

(Continued)

They were such friends in Sunday School, that they even gave the whole church nursery the chicken pox together.

Misti’s mother brought this to a church covered dish meal, and I have been making it ever since - about 40 years.

This is wonderful to divide in half and freeze or share with a sick friend.

Isn’t it amazing how love, family, friends, and food all go together?

What better way to spend an evening or a Sunday afternoon than visiting with family and friends while eating a delicious meal.

If you haven’t checked out my new mystery novel, Home to the Brazos, go to Amazon or Kindle and do so.

It is set right here in Palo Pinto County - the people and plot are fiction, but most of the places are real.

Many of the scenes in the book take place around a dinner table, which, I think, is one of the best ways to communicate - food, breaking bread together, is wonderful.
