First Baptist Church to celebrate 130 years

On Sunday, Nov. 11th, First Baptist Church will be celebrating 130 years of serving the Lord and the community of Mineral Wells.

The church invites all current and former members, as well as anyone else who would like to attend the anniversary celebration. Sunday School will begin at 9:15 a.m. and a special combined worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. We will be spending time looking at the past, present, and future of our congregation.

There will also be a lunch in the gym immediately following the service. For more information, call the church office at (940) 325-2523.

Mt. Olive, Hughes Chapel joint services

Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church will be having morning service at 11 a.m. with Hughes Chapel C.M.E., 611 S.W. 1st Ave., Mineral Wells, the first Sunday of the month.

The other Sundays of the month service will be at 8 a.m.

Anyone wishing to help in the rebuilding of Mt. Olive can send donations c/o Building Fund, P.O. Box 1344, Mineral Wells, TX 76068.
