Speaking of flowers … wonder of wonders, I have become a “flower person”! I know, I know, you thought that I was an indoor person, always with a book in my hand, or sitting in my chair working cryptograms or crossword puzzles; the truth of which is indisputable to a point. That point has become dimmer, to the fact that it can barely be seen, except by those with 20/20 vision, a discerning imagination or at least an understanding that I can still carry out my life-long passion after my husband has retired to his bed and I can hear his snores at a reasonable distance.
