For double the vision my eyes do see, and a double vision is always with me. With an inward eye ‘tis an old one grey, with my outward, a thistle across my way. The above was written by William Blake, 16th Century English poet in an obvious prophesy of my 21st Century eye problem.
It all started a couple of months ago when I fell and broke my glasses. For years I have had all my regular eye examinations and new glasses done in Mineral Wells. Even Colon had his cataract removal and lens implanted at the Mineral Wells Ophthalmology Associates’ office. Neither of us have ever been dissatisfied with the help we have received from them. When I broke my current glasses frames, I wished that I was close to Mineral Wells and my familiar vision specialists so that getting replacements for my broken eyes would be speedy and satisfactory. But, alas, I had to search out a local OD to serve my present needs.
