POSSUM KINGDOM LAKE – Things got hot in many ways within the Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce meeting room, Tuesday evening, when an estimated crowd of 450 property owners and stakeholders packed in to hear the Brazos River Authority’s water management plan presentation.
For almost an hour, staff and consultants spoke about work on developing a water management plan and its Texas Commission on Environmental Quality system operational permit. Then, for over two hours, they heard numerous public comments and questions – some seemingly as heated as the room.
