POSSUM KINGDOM LAKE – The search continues in the murky Possum Kingdom Lake water for missing Coppell teen Jacob Logan.

Since Sunday afternoon the Brazos River Authority, aided by dive teams and sonar experts, has searched for the 17-year-old football standout. Logan was reportedly with friends when he jumped from a 25-35 foot cliff near the confluence of Bluff Creek and PK Lake on the SET Ranch.

Officials said his friends reported Logan resurfaced once before he disappeared underwater.

On Thursday, a six-man Underwater Rescue Team from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department joined the search, bringing with them a “Sea Otter.” With both sonar and video, this piece of equipment gives searchers a better view of the deep underwater area, according to BRA spokesperson Judi Pierce.
