The Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship (http://www.craigcrawfordmemorialscholarship.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, announces the 2013 Craig Crawford Memorial Law Enforcement and High School Scholarship fundraising event.
A shotgun start will proceed promptly at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Lunch will be provided for all players and volunteers.
The charity is hosting the tournament at a new venue this year in an effort to expand its reach within the community.
The 2013 Golf Tournament – a four-man, best ball scramble – will be followed by an award ceremony.
Chris Crawford, president of the Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship and tournament co-chair, notes that only 144 playing slots are available, and registration for the event has been opened. Early registration is strongly advised.
"The annual Craig Crawford Memorial golf tournament has become a very popular charity golf event for business owners and community leaders," Crawford said. "Continued support for the golf tournament is a result of people and businesses wanting to make a difference within their community. Our sponsor, player and volunteer support are what make this charity event possible. Please help us make a difference in the community by supporting highschool students’ college educations and our law enforcement."
Corporate advertising and equipment sponsorships are available for the tournament. The Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship is actively seeking corporate and individual donors to help fund law enforcement and high school scholarship philanthropic efforts. All sponsors with monetary donations or tangible items per IRS code will receive a tax deductible receipt.
