Visitors of all ages will get a first look at Mineral Wells’ new aviation museum during an open house event Nov. 3.
Eagle Flying Museum Event Director Bob Ellis said interactive exhibits will provide something for everyone.
“The museum was designed so people could not only see World War II airplanes but learn to fly them,” he said.
While casual visitors cannot earn their pilot’s license at the museum, Ellis said those with an aviation background will be able to “actually fly them, sign them out and utilize them.”
He said the museum currently houses several historic planes, noting additional exhibits will be added regularly.
