— It’s graduation time as area high school seniors begin counting down the days till the end of school and making plans for their futures. Among those are the top two graduates, the valedictorian and the salutatorian, from each high school.

Community Christian School’s 2014 Valedictorian is Isaiah Brazeal, and the salutatorian is his cousin, Samuel Brazeal.

What is your best high school memory? “I shot the winning shot at the buzzard when we played Cleburne in a basketball game my sophomore year!”

What are your college plans? “University of North Texas.”

What are your ultimate career goals? “I don’t really care about money or success, I just want to be happy.”

Name: Samuel Brazeal

GPA: 3.97

What is your best high school memory? “I shot the winning shot with my opponent literally hanging on my arm against Weatherford Christian my sophomore year!”

What are your college plans? “Ottawa University of Kansas.”

What are your ultimate career goals? “I want to make it to the NFL and become a teacher.”
