Also on Wednesday, Jett Allan Smith will be inducted into the school’s prestigious Hall of Honor. Smith, an alumni inductee, was also a Ram Elite inductee in 2004.

Since graduation, Smith has earned an impressive list of credentials. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in August 2007 and was on the Dean’s List for four semesters. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in May of 2011.

Currently he is an assistant district attorney for Bexar County, where he is the third-chair felony prosecutor in the 226th and 227th district courts; first chair in county courts-at-law numbers four and six; first chair in the Bexar County Veteran’s Court; second chair in County Court-at-Law No. 4; and a misdemeanor intake prosecutor.

His presentations, honors and activities include, but aren’t limited to, a member of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, an instructor of the San Antonio Police Department In-Service Education, and an Overall Best award at the Western Heritage Weekend for Competitive Chuckwagon Cooking.

He is married to an educator, Elizabeth McClure, and together they just had their firstborn son.

All of Smith’s fellow classmates from the MWHS Class of 2004 are invited to attend.
