Senior Center, First Baptist Church hosting Friday event geared to keep seniors healthier, happier and wiser

The Mineral Wells Senior Center is hosting its annual Senior Expo this Friday.

The expo will take place 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the center, located at 102 N.W. 6th Ave., and across the street at First Baptist Church.

The free event will feature vendors providing a wealth of health and lifestyles information for seniors. There will be workshops provided by senior health and living experts as well as free health screenings. Event attendees will also find food, refreshments and entertainment.

Vendors will set up exhibits in the First Baptist Church gym. Designated workshops and health screenings will take place in the church’s meeting rooms. Breakfast will be served 9-10 a.m. with lunch from 11:30-12:30 p.m. inside the senior center. There will also be Bingo and entertainment inside the center. A shuttle service will be provided by First Baptist Church.
