Leadercast offers unique chance to learn from industry experts

For the second year, the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce is giving locals an opportunity to take part in the Chick-fil-A Leadercast program.

Today is the last day to secure tickets for the one-day event, which will take place May 10 at Link Field Services.

Featuring speakers from various disciplines and diverse backgrounds, the training session is designed to help the approximately 125,000 participants to “Simply Lead,” as its slogan suggests.

Scheduled speakers include Jack Welch, Andy Stanley, Mike Krzyzewski, John Maxwell, Henry Cloud, Rorke Denver, Sanya-Richards Ross and David Allen. Additionally, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will share her thoughts via an exclusive interview.

Each speaker will share his or her insights, specifically geared toward establishing the simplicity needed to lead in a complex environment.

The addresses are designed to challenge, inspire and encourage those in attendance.

The event lasts from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. local time and is simulcast around the world from Atlanta. Chamber members can attend for $99 while tickets for prospective members are $119 each. Admission costs include a journal, networking, breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Those hoping to attend the event in Atlanta can purchase basic tickets for $239 each.

The chamber thanks Chick-fil-A and State Bank of Mineral Wells for sponsoring the local Leadercast event.
