Police make burglary and other arrests

(Continued)

Strewn around Graves were three cans of air duster, which is stored in air compressed cans similar to spray paint. Police said individuals sometimes inhale the compressed air as a means of getting a cheap high, not unlike huffing paint.

Police arrested Graves for possession and use by inhaling/ingesting a volatile chemical.

The final incident involved a three-car accident near Fort Wolters Industrial Park after which one man tried to cut out early.

Just after 7 a.m., Friday, police responded to the 6800 block of US Highway 180 E where the three-vehicle accident had left 24-year-old Michael Perkins' Toyota Camry un-drivable.

For whatever reason, police said Perkins fled the scene on foot and called his significant other to tell her what had happened. Perkins' significant other, police said, opted to call the cops.

Police said Perkins eventually returned to the scene, where he was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, an accident involving over $200 damage to a vehicle, failure to yield right-of-way and driving without a license.
