According to Mineral Wells police reports, a two-vehcile collision Sunday sent the occupant of one vehicle to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators reported Armando A. Gonzalez, 39, of Mineral Wells, was traveling north in the 200 block of N. Oak Ave. shortly before 10 p.m., and stopped for a traffic signal at the intersection with N.E. 2nd Street.
Gonzalez was riding a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, reports show.
Robert Keith Slay, 36, of Palo Pinto, approached Gonzalez from the rear driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, according to police reports, and stopped behind him for the red light.
Slay told police he saw the left turn arrow change to green and began to pull forward through the intersection, reports show.
The red light remained lit for through traffic, though, and Slay's vehicle struck Gonzalez, who was still stopped at the intersection.
Reports indicate Gonzalez was possibly injured in the crash and he was transported to Palo Pinto General Hospital from the scene.
Investigators listed driver inattention on the part of Slay as a contributing factor in the incident.
