In conjunction with the county historical driving tour, the Strawn Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first “Bash on the Bricks” festival at the city’s pavilion, next to Strawn City Hall.
The festival will feature an arts-and-crafts fair, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and a vintage car show, 1-4 p.m. There will also be food and local and regional vendors vendors on hand.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwich wraps and all the extras available 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. for $5.
Four sites on the Palo Pinto County Historic and Wildflower Driving Tour are in Strawn – a preview of the Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, the Opal Guest Chapel (formerly the Presbyterian Church), the Stuart Estate and Strawn Museum. So plan to stop by next Saturday and celebrate.
