Mineral Wells Emergency Medical Services transported a man to Palo Pinto General Hospital with minor injuries after he hydroplaned and crashed into another car on Interstate 20 near Santo on Wednesday afternoon.
Texas Department of Public Safety Senior Trooper Gary M. Rozzell said the driver a 22 year-old male was traveling East bound on I-20 near mile marker 385 at 12:26 p.m. when he hydroplaned on the slick road. His 2007 white GMC SV skid sideways across the median and into the West bound lane where it was struck head-on on the back right by a 62 year-old man in a 2001 Buick four-door.
Rozzell said the driver of the Buick had possible injuries, but was not transported to a hospital. No one involved has pressed charges.
