PALO PINTO – Palo Pinto County Commissioners accepted a petition for the creation of a second county Emergency Services District in Precinct 4, which covers Santo, Lone Camp and Brazos.

Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie to make Mineral Wells visit
Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie serves as the 117th elected and consecrated bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church. She is scheduled to visit Mt. Olive A.M.E. church, located at Hughes Chapel C.M.E. Church at 611 S.W. 1st Ave. in Mineral Wells, at 3 p.m. Saturday.
