PALO PINTO – A Palo Pinto County grand jury on Thursday returned 27 felony indictments against 19 named individuals. Seven of the indictments were sealed pending the arrests of the persons charged.

The open indictments returned were:

• Jose Inez Carrizalez Jr., aka Jose Inez Carrizales Jr. – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Terrence Lee Chamberlain – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, 1-4 grams.

• Donald James Harris Jr. – aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

• Brian Luke Jacobs – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, 4-200 grams.

• Matthew Fred Johnson – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Christopher Byington Jones – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Tanner Blake Jordon – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Ronald Lee Long Jr. – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Eric Aristeo Orozco – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Nicholas Bradley Owen – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Paul Daniel Perez – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Theresa Michelle Peterson – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Jonathan David Quesada – possession of a controlled substance, psilocin/psilocybin, less than 1 gram.

• Lonnie Wade Snell – evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

• Lonnie Wade Snell – unauthorized use of a vehicle.

• Luke Steen – possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, less than 1 gram.

• Peggy Lynn Strange – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, 1-4 grams.

• Zelma Michelle Tate – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.

• Jared Scott Williams – possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than 1 gram.
