Danesa Beth Thompson and Zachariah Preston DeLong were married Dec. 27, 2009, in the beautiful Chandor Gardens in Weatherford, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Melinda Thompson, of Mineral Wells. The groom is the son of Margo DeLong, of Pampa, Texas, and Gregory DeLong, of Ravenna, Ohio.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Mineral Wells High School, and in December 2009 received her Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre and Design from West Texas A&M University. The groom is currently completing his Bachelor of Science degree in business from West Texas A&M University.
The bride was attended by her maid of honor and sister, Amber Thompson, of Amarillo, Texas; her sister-in-law, Corey Fuller Thompson, of Sherwood, Ore.; her cousins, Nancy Bledsoe, of Denton, Texas, and Sabrina Molina of Carrollton, Texas; and sister-in-law, Hadassah DeLong, of Pampa. Mikayla Grace Jones, of Amarillo, attended the couple as flower girl.
The groom was attended by best man and brother, Jonathan DeLong, of Canyon, Texas; Stryker Green, of Clayton, N.M.; Jesse Jones, of Clayton, N.M.; and Gary Willoughby, of Pampa.
Special music was provided by the groom’s brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Sheila DeLong.
After a honeymoon week spent in the Metroplex area and a remote Panhandle ranch house, the couple returned to their home in Canyon.
