PALO PINTO COUNTY – Early voting for the July 31 primary runoff election takes place Monday through Friday at the Palo Pinto County Courthouse and the Poston Building Courthouse Annex.

Republican Precinct 1 Commissioner candidates Curtis Henderson and Bob Manskey are the only Palo Pinto County candidates in the runoff; however, there are state and federal runoff elections for both parties.

“If you voted Republican in the primary, you have to vote Republican in the run off, If you voted Democrat in the primary, you can only vote Democrat in the runoff,” explained Elections Administrator Judith Evans. “But if you didn’t vote in the primary, you can vote for either party.”

Once again, the Index asked Henderson and Manskey several questions, with a limit of 300 words per response, in order to help voters choose which candidate to support.
