An early afternoon Thursday wreck along U.S. Highway 281, just north of Perrin, resulted in three occupants being transported to area hospitals.
According to Department of Public Safety Trooper Tony Fulton, J.C. Clark, 21, of Mineral Wells was driving a Dodge minivan northbound on U.S. 281 when he ran off the right side of the road.
Overcorrecting, Clark then travelled across all lanes of traffic and ran off the road on the left side, through a fence, hitting a utility pole and rolling the vehicle.
A passenger, Shawn Goodrum, 20, of Mineral Wells, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected during the crash, Fulton said.
Goodrum was airlifted to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, where Fulton said he remained in critical condition as of Friday afternoon.
Clark was airlifted to Wichita Falls United Regional Health Care Center to receive treatment for his injuries.
A third occupant, Russell Goodrum, 25, of Mineral Wells, was transported via ambulance to Palo Pinto General Hospital.
Fulton said the crash remains under investigation.
