Good day Millsap and friends!
The almanac predicts a rough winter for northern folks with a bit less intensity for southern states. One source called it a “Polar Coaster” with snow and rain moving in and out from coast to coast. Another source predicts above average temperatures for the South. Time will tell!
No matter what the weather holds, our community is planning to celebrate Christmas in a big way with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree celebration at the log cabins scheduled for December 14th. There will be vendors, a chili cook-off, Christmas music, FREE hot dogs with all the fixings (including chili), a Christmas parade, an ugly Christmas sweater contest, and – Santa Claus!
This annual event is sponsored by the City of Millsap. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend and participate. Contact City Hall for more information.
Then, December 21st, the Walden family invites everyone to join them for a Christmas celebration at Millsap Walden Farm & Ranch Supply for hot dogs, a hay ride and pictures with Santa. Mark your calendar and watch for upcoming details.
The Millsap Garden Club will have its Christmas meeting on Wednesday, December 4th, at 11:30 a.m. Join in the fun.
Let’s remember those less fortunate and those who have lost loved ones this holiday season. Keep looking up.
