It is time to think about Christmas and those who may need help. Angel trees are popping up everywhere for children and elderly adults who need special attention. Palo Pinto County “Meals on Wheels” has folks who could benefit from your generosity.
November 23rd—Bake Sale at the Cool Melon Stand from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. benefiting area missions of Holders Chapel (including angel tree outreach). Choose from a variety of delicious pies, cakes and breads.
The Millsap Heritage Society cancelled its regular meeting as it was so cold. They will meet Monday, November 18th, at 7 p.m. at the log cabins or city hall. Don’t forget to pick up your 2020 calendar for $10.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 28th. I can already smell the familiar scents of the season. Planning for family, food, and fun is as exciting as the day itself! Facebook had a recipe for fried deviled eggs. Anyone want to add that to their Thanksgiving meal?
