Mineral Wells Church of God Pastor Jerrel Tomlin was among those taking part in the Mineral Wells Life Chain event downtown on Sunday, Oct. 27.

"It was an awesome experience for those attending," said one of the organizers, Sharon Walls. "The weather was perfect and it is such a privilege and blessing to be able to unite in prayer to lift up those who are unable to save themselves. Hopefully more will be a part of next year’s Life Chain which will be held the first Sunday in October in Downtown Mineral Wells."
