Following are reports filed by Mineral Wells police based on calls for service for the period April 3-10. Not all calls for service result in a filed report:

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3

• THREAT – 900 block of Pasadena Boulevard, 11:32 a.m. A male threatened to burn down a business.

• THEFT –  600 block of  FM Road 1821 North, 1:31 p.m. A male reportedly stole three chainsaws from a store.

• RUNAWAY – N.E. 23rd Street and FM Road 1821 North, 2:40 p.m. A reported runaway juvenile was located.

• ARRESTS – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 4:34 p.m. A shoplifting call resulted in the arrests of Chelsea K. Black, 20, and Zachary C. Scott, 22, both of Bryson, on misdemeanor charges of property theft $100-$750.

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 3600 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 4:44 p.m. Call of disorderly conduct at a motel.

• THEFT – 400 block of S.E. 4th Avenue, 4:15 p.m. Two bicycles were reportedly stolen from a residence.

• DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – 1400 block of N.W. 3rd Avenue, 5:05 p.m. A male subject reportedly kicked in the door to a female’s home. On previous occasions the male allegedly assaulted the female.

• ARREST – 200 block of N.E. 11th Street, 9:23 p.m. Police responded to a residence where a male allegedly assaulted and restrained his girlfriend. David E. Matthews Jr., 28, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a felony charge of assault of family/household member by impeding their breathing/circulation, and misdemeanor charges of unlawful restraint, criminal mischief $100-$750, failure to identify by giving false/fictitious information and resisting search/arrest/transport.

THURSDAY, APRIL 4

• WRECK – 3800 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 7:55 a.m.

• WRECK – 4500 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 8:59 a.m.

• WRECK – 1200 block of S.E. 6th Avenue, 4:30 p.m.

• THEFT – 300 block of N.E. 6th Avenue, 5:23 p.m. A bicycle was reportedly stolen from a residential backyard.

• ARREST –  100 block of S.E. 6th Avenue, 9:06 p.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Donnie A. Howard, 22, of Plainview, on a misdemeanor charge of driving with an invalid license.

• ARREST – 200 block of Country Club Parkway, 10:30 p.m. A domestic disturbance call involved a man who allegedly hit his daughter with a kitchen utensil. Quentin J. Harrison, 21, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a felony charge of injury to a child/elderly/disabled person.

FRIDAY, APRIL 5

• ARREST – 1400 block of S.E. 8-1/2 Street, 12:04 a.m. A suspicious person call resulted in the arrest of Brentt A. Luttrell, 38, of Comanche, on an outstanding county arrest warrant and a probation violation warrant.

• INFORMATION – 300 block of N.W. 4th Street, 12:08 a.m. Drug paraphernalia was found.

• ASSAULT – 200 block of S.E. 6th Street, 2:02 a.m. A domestic disturbance call resulted in the arrest of Ricky L. Starr, 35, of Mineral Wells, on a misdemeanor charge of assault by contact against a female.

• WRECK – 1400 block of S.E. 13th Street, 5:58 a.m.

• NARCOTICS – 800 block of South Oak Avenue, 7:41 a.m. Controlled substance problem.

• WRECK – 1400 block of S.E. 22nd Street, 8:04 a.m.

• VEHICLE THEFT –  200 block of Country Club Parkway, 11:36 a.m. Complainant reported that his grandson’s girlfriend took the complainant’s truck without permission. He wants to file criminal charges against the girlfriend.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1900 block of S.E. 13th Street, 12:02 p.m. A vehicle was damaged by unknown subjects who attempted to make enter a locked vehicle.

• INFORMATION – 2500 block of U.S. Highway 180 West, 11:57 a.m. A doctor’s office employee who resigned is suspected of going to the office and deleting an estimated $98,000 worth of patient account and billing information from the office computer. An investigation is continuing.

• RUNAWAY – 400 block of Country Club Parkway, 4:35 p.m. A female juvenile was reported as a runaway.

• ARSON – 900 block of S.W. 12th Street, 4:29 p.m. A subject attempted setting a vehicle on fire.

• ARREST – 1300 block of S.E. 2nd Street, 5:27 p.m. A domestic disturbance call resulted in the arrest of Juan C. Vega, 39, of Mineral Wells, on two misdemeanor counts of assault of a family member causing bodily injury.

• THEFT – 600 block of East Hubbard Street, 4:58 p.m. A pistol that was reported stolen was found and recovered.

• BURGLARY – 900 block of S.W. 2nd Avenue, 5:03 p.m. A resident arrived home to find it had been burglarized.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6

• WRECK – 4500 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 6:52 a.m.

• FRAUD – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 2:34 p.m. A subject’s account was fraudulently accessed and purchases made.

• LOST PROPERTY – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 4:08 p.m. Reporting person said their cell phone was stolen or misplaced while shopping at local grocery store.

• ARRESTS – 700 block of S.E. 6th Avenue, 9:02 p.m. During a dispute, a subject reportedly pulled what looked like an authentic gun on another person. The gun turned out to be pellet pistol. Jacob A. Tankersley, 24, of Big Spring, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of deadly conduct. Also arrested at the scene was Karen C. Lotz, 38, of Mineral Wells, on a parole violation warrant.

• WRECK –  4300 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 10:17 p.m.

• WRECK – S.E. 14th Avenue and S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, 11:29 p.m.

• ARREST – 400 block of S.E. 4th Avenue, 11:25 p.m. Simon C. Sheehan, 18, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

SUNDAY, APRIL 7

• REPOSSESSION – 600 block of S.W. 16th Street, 4:51 a.m. A tow truck operator moved a vehicle in order to access the vehicle he wanted to repossess.

• WRECK – 200 block of Ellis White Road, 9:17 a.m.

• FORGERY – 600 block of S.E. 26th Avenue, 11:40 a.m. An account was accessed and transactions made without the owner’s permission.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1000 block of S.E. 8th Street, 10:54 a.m. A truck’s side window was broken.

• LOST PROPERTY – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North,12:02 p.m. A license plate was reported lost or stolen.

• WRECK – 3000 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 1:51 p.m.

• DOMESTIC DISPUTE – 1800 block of S.E. 21st Street,1:22 p.m.

• WRECK – S.W. 1st Street and West Hubbard Street, 2:17 p.m.

• ARREST – MH 379 and Old Millsap Highway, 2:17 p.m. Christopher D. Cox, 28, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of running a stop sign, no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

• THEFT – 500 block of S.W. 22nd Street, 5:35 p.m. A person did not return cash for a cell phone.

MONDAY, APRIL 8

• DEATH – 1900 block of North Oak Avenue, 5:45 a.m. Death due to medical causes.

• THEFT – 100 block of S.W. 4th Avenue, 9:24 a.m. A guitar was reported stolen from a church’s music room.

• ASSAULT – 1000 block of S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, 9:49 a.m. A juvenile bit a school’s assistant principal.

• FRAUD – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 11:21 a.m. A person’s credit/debit card was used without the owner’s consent.

• LOST PROPERTY – 100 block of FM Road 1821 North, 7:06 p.m. A female lost a wallet in a parking lot.

• ARREST – 2800 block of S.E. 5th Street, 9:19 p.m. A domestic disturbance resulted in the arrest of Loc P. Luu, 36, of Mineral Wells, on a misdemeanor charge of assault/family violence.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 800 block of S.E. 8th Street, 8:54 p.m. Juveniles vandalized a vehicle.

TUESDAY, APRIL 9

• NARCOTICS – 1900 block of East Hubbard Street, 12:22 a.m. Controlled substance problem.

• ARREST – 200 block of N.E. 7th Avenue, 1:15 a.m. Ricky R. Sampley, 41, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a parole violation warrant and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous drug.

• ARREST – 1300 block of S.W. 4th Avenue, 3:12 a.m. Following a traffic stop, Dustin D. Diamond, 20, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on an outstanding Parker County warrant, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces and driving under the influence.

• WRECK – 3700 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 7:52 a.m.

• WRECK – 2000 block of East Hubbard Street, 9:56 a.m.

• WELFARE CHECK – 900 block of S.W. 5th Avenue, 10:19 a.m. An officer say a person lying on a sidewalk with another person next to them. The officer was told the person on the ground needed medical assistance and EMS was dispatched.

• ARREST – 600 block of N.W. 7th Street,12:22 p.m. A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested on charges of domestic violence and criminal mischief to a patrol vehicle.

• FRAUD – 400 block of S.W. 3rd Avenue, 2:10 p.m. Credit cards were used by the victim’s niece without permission.

• THEFT – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 3:21 p.m. A report of shoplifting at a store.

• WRECK – 100 block of S.W. 4th Avenue, 6:19 p.m.

• ARREST – 2400 block of  U.S. Highway 180 West, 7:06 p.m. A suspicious person call resulted in the arrest of Joseph C. Botts, 31, of Mineral Wells, on an outstanding county warrant and a misdemeanor charge of failure to identify by giving false information.

• TRESPASSING – 1400 block of N.W. 1st Avenue, 9:37 p.m. A female entered a residence without permission.

• WRECK – 1400 block of S.E. 14th Street, 4:02 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10

• TRESPASSING – 200 block of East Hubbard Street, 10:42 a.m.

• SEX OFFENDER – 200 block of South Oak Avenue, 1:57 p.m. Sex offender’s failure of duty to register annually/for life.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 200 block of N.E. 7th Street, 2:23 p.m. A report of criminal mischief in an amount of $100-$750.
