Following are reports filed by Mineral Wells police based on calls for service for the period May 14-17. Not all calls for service result in a filed report:

THURSDAY, MAY 14

• TRAFFIC – 7100 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 12:47 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was red-tagged.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1400 block of S.W. 8th Avenue, 12:38 a.m. The front door of a residence was kicked in.

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 700 block of S.E. 25th Avenue, 6:15 a.m. A female was reportedly being disorderly at a convenience store.

• SUICIDE – 300 block of Country Club Parkway, 6 a.m. A juvenile male was found deceased.

• THREATS – 2500 block of S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, 7:22 a.m. A female said another female in her apartment complex threatened her.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 3000 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, 1:32 p.m. A woman vandalized a vehicle during an argument.

• FOUND PROPERTY – A handbag was found and turned in.

• TRAFFIC – 700 block of S.W. 16th Street, 1:33 p.m. A trash truck hit cable line that was crossing the street causing it to break.

• ATTEMPTED SUICIDE – Longhorn Road, 2:39 p.m. A juvenile male harmed himself at his group home.

• ARREST – 1700 block of East Hubbard Street, 2:18 p.m. A woman reportedly used abusive language towards a convenience store employee, then allegedly resisted arrest and assaulted a police officer. Katie I. Gilley, 36, of Mineral Wells, was arrested a felony charge of assaulting a public servant and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest/search/transport.

• HIT-AND-RUN – 2200 block of Jacob Street, 3:41 p.m.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 100 block of Garrett Morris Parkway, 3:41 p.m. A business reported someone vandalized their AC unit during the time the business was closed during the current pandemic.

• WRECK – 100 block of S.W. 1st Street, 6:40 p.m.

• THEFT – 100 block of S.E. 19th Street, 5:18 p.m. Complainant said his roommate stole a bank bag.

• DOG BITE – 700 block of S.W. 19th Street, 7:28 p.m. A female was bitten by a dark-colored pit bull mix dog while checking her mail.

• INFORMATION – 200 block of South Oak Avenue, 11:48 p.m. A female defecated on the jail cell floor at the Mineral Wells Police Department.

FRIDAY, MAY 15

• NARCOTICS – 900 block of Holiday Hills Drive, 1:14 a.m. A vehicle with an open door was discovered, with controlled substances and drug paraphernalia visible inside the vehicle. A male at a nearby residence indicated the items were his.

• FOUND PROPERTY – 100 block of S.E. 13th Avenue, 10:42 a.m. A bicycle was found at a business.

• NARCOTICS – 300 block of N.W. 23rd Street, 1:20 p.m. Narcotics were discovered during a traffic stop.

• ARREST – 1200 block of N.W. 6th Avenue, 5:39 p.m. A domestic disturbance resulted in the reported arrest of Julie A. Maldonado, 55, on a felony charge assault of a household/family member with a previous conviction.

• VEHICLE THEFT – 700 block of Brazos Drive, 8:29 p.m.

• ATTEMPTED SUICIDE – 1000 block of S.E. 18th Street, 9:15 p.m. Subject overdosed on medication.

• ARREST – 500 block of S.W. 13th Street, 10:28 p.m. Kenneth D. Lanier, 53, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of assault/family violence by contact.

SATURDAY, MAY 16

• ARREST – 100 block of North Oak Avenue, 12:18 a.m. A single-vehicle wreck resulted in the reported arrest of Dustin D. Diamond, 21, of Mineral Wells, on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated-second offense.

• WRECK – 3600 block of U.S. Highway 180 West, 4:49 a.m.

• HIT-AND-RUN – 900 block of S.E. 19th Street, 8:59 a.m. A male subject struck a street sign with his vehicle and then fled the scene.

• TRESPASSING – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 12:15 p.m. A male and a female were criminally trespassed from a store for shoplifting.

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1400 block of N.W. 3rd Avenue, 1:51 p.m. A male was issued a criminal trespass warning.

• THREATS – 1400 block of N.W. 3rd Avenue, 2:42 p.m. A woman said a male threatened her.

• WRECK – 2200 block of East Hubbard Street, 3:16 p.m.

• FRAUD – 600 block of Holiday Hills Drive, 3:11 p.m. A bank account was hacked.

• THEFT – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 5:14 p.m. A subject was issued a citation for theft under $100 at a store.

• VEHICLE BURGLARY – 100 block of Washington Avenue, 6:11 p.m.

• WELFARE CHECK – 2500 block of North Oak Avenue, 6:35 p.m.

• HIT-AND-RUN – 2800 block of N.E. 11th Street, 7:53 p.m. A male left the scene of an accident after striking a fence.

• ARREST – 200 block of Evergreen Drive, 6:57 p.m. A woman reportedly assaulted a juvenile female. Amanda R. Vega, 39, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of assault/family violence by contact.

• HARASSMENT – 400 block of N.W. 2nd Street, 7:22 p.m. Information report made.

• HARASSMENT – 900 block of S.E. 17th Street, 5:29 p.m. A woman said her ex-boyfriend is harassing her.

• VEHICLE THEFT – 2000 block of S.E. 17th Avenue, 11:33 p.m.

SUNDAY, MAY 17

• WRECK – 1600 block of S.E. 22nd Avenue, 1:50 a.m.

• ARREST – 1800 block of S.E. 9th Street, 12:43 a.m. A disturbance during what police said was a large house party resulted in the reported arrest of Donnie S. Hamilton III, 22, of Mineral Wells, on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct-abusive language and disorderly conduct-loud music/noise.

• ASSIST – 2100 block of N.W. 3rd Avenue, 9:35 a.m. A male had a seizure and a laceration to his ear.

• DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – N.W. 4th Avenue and N.W. 6th Street, 9:11 a.m. A male was assaulted during an altercation in the street.

• TRAFFIC – 900 block of S.E. 22nd Avenue, 11:03 a.m. A traffic stop involved a male reportedly giving false information while being a fugitive and then evading arrest.

• WRECK – 300 block of Country Club Parkway, 1:21 p.m.

• ARREST – 1500 block of S.E.18th Street, 1:35 p.m. Juan C. Gonzalez, 45, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession under 2 ounces and resisting search/arrest/transport.

• THREATS – 200 block of Evergreen Drive, 3:41 p.m. Dispute/threats regarding a child reported.

• SHOPLIFTING – 600 block of FM Road 1821 North, 6:39 p.m. Two males reportedly walked out of a store without paying for items in a basket.

• ASSAULT – 100 block of MH 379, 7:32 p.m. A physical altercation between two males led to a female being assaulted.

• DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – 100 block of S.E. 19th Street, 10:32 p.m.

• BURGLARY – 500 block of S.W. 20th Street, 10:11 p.m. Report of a person attempting to break into a residence.
