Rams hope to sock Argyle

Quarterback Hunter McCoy and The Mineral Wells Rams (0-1) welcome the Argyle Eagles (1-0) to Ram Stadium for the 2010 home opener tonight, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.

Season tickets are available through today for $25 at the high school office.

The Rams are coming off a tough opening-week 10-9 loss at Graham, in which the defense played outstandingly, but the offense struggled with mistakes, including three interceptions that doomed the young men in red.

The Rams' passing game will likely take on added importance in tonight's game, as running back A.J. Poole might not be available. The Rams could also be without a key defensive contributor, cornerback Joseph Walls.
