The 15th annual Palo Pinto General Hospital Auxiliary Dinner and Fashion show is Monday, September 23, at Mineral Wells High School.
The theme for this year’s gala is “RUNWAY 76067!” Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from any Auxiliary member or at the hospital gift shop.
A delicious meal will be served promptly at 6:30 p.m. The meal will be prepared by David Crawford’s Homerun Catering. The meal will be brisket/pork tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes, cowboy beans, salad, rolls and your choice of homemade banana pudding or peach cobbler.
All of your favorite local stores will be participating again this year.
“It’s a wonderful avenue for these businesses to showcase their merchandise,” said Diane Brown, Director of Volunteer Services and Foundation for PPGH.
Merchants participating this year are Anchored by Faith, Auxiliary Gift Shop, Brown & Bird, Bealls, Cato, Cactus Creek, Cherokee & The Wigwam, Emerald Lane, Kraze and Sour Patch Shop.
Our “Master of Ceremony” for the evening, and back by popular demand, is Rhonda Patterson-Boaz, Director of Laboratory at PPGH.
First Financial Bank has again provided a $1,000 cash door prize, and you must be present to win. Thanks again for your support First Financial Bank.
The dinner and fashion show is the Auxiliary’s largest fundraiser. Brown said more than 300people are expected to this year. All proceeds from this event are used to improve the quality of life in Palo Pinto County by supporting Palo Pinto General Hospital.
“The medical community is also a strong supporter of this annual event and we are appreciative to the physicians and everyone who work with us to have such a successful event,” said Brown.
There are two entrances to this year's event. Individuals can be dropped off at the back door, which is much closer and not quite as far to walk for those who find it hard entering from the front parking lot. This is for drop-off only. Parking is not allowed in back.
