MIDLAND – J. Ross Lacy, a Republican candidate for Texas’ 11th Congressional District, was endorsed this week by the Young Conservative of Texas, a non-partisan conservative youth organization that has been fighting for conservative values for more than a quarter century in the Lone Star State.
"Young Conservatives of Texas are proud to announce our support for J. Ross Lacy for Congress in his election bid for CD 11," reads a statement from the group. "With a career as a successful businessman, Lacy will fight for fiscal responsibility and defend conservatism in the heart of the Swamp."
"I’m incredibly proud to be endorsed by the Young Conservatives of Texas," said J. Ross Lacy. "2020 is a pivotal year for the future of Texas and our youth. I am excited to stand with YCT and fight for our shared conservative values!"
J. Ross Lacy is a businessman and former Midland City councilman. He is a graduate of Lee High School and received his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, graduating Summa Cum Laude. J. Ross is the President at Lacy Oil Corp., Managing Partner of Lacy Capital, LLC, Managing Partner of CATI Well Service, LLC and Manager of Key Accounts for Cressman Tubular. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Midland and has served on numerous local and state boards.
Early voting begins Feb. 18 and the primary election date is March 3.
