Graford moved to 6-0 in District 21-1A with its best defensive effort of the season Tuesday in a 92-10 win against Woodson.
The Jackrabbits have put up some astounding numbers on defense this season beating Windthorst 51-16, Woodson 104-17 and Newcastle 96-17, but the 92-10 win is something special when considering Coach Ty Tabor’s attitude about an attacking defense.
Jackrabbits still mustered their usual offensive attack and spread out the scoring from across the court. Sophomore Marc Matthews led the scoring with 15 points while Micah Manley was right on his heels with 13.
Tanner Ford and Levi Butler got an even dozen points each with Butler scoring all of his shots from three-point range. Xavier Harrison scored all ten of his points in the first quarter of play.
Cody Lemly topped the rebounders with eight.
The Rabbits have one home game remaining on Friday against Perrin before closing out district play with three straight road games.
