GRAFORD - The Graford Jackrabbits dropped to 14-5 on the year after a 75-64 loss to Wichita Falls Cityview.

"They shot the ball real well and were able to pressure us the whole game," said Graford head coach Ty Tabor. "It was a good game for us because it exposed some things we need to improve moving forward."

The Class 1A Jackrabbits are ranked third in the state by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.

The teams went to intermission tied at 37 before WFCV was able to pull away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Graford 21-14 in the final frame.

The Jackrabbits were led in scoring by Xavier Harrison with 24, followed by 19 poured in by Tanner Ford. Marc Matthews chipped in 13.

Graford's next game is Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Argyle.
