The Lady Warriors broke open a tight game Friday in a rough tumble against Stephenville Faith as Community Christian School improved to 19-1 on the season with a 60-38 thumping of the Lady Knights.

CCS had three players in double figures led by Hena Spahic’s 24-point performance and 15 pints from Elaina Buchanan and 13 from Kate Buchanan.

After establishing a 17-12 lead in the first quarter, the Lady Warriors didn’t allow another quarter of double-figure scoring by the Lady Knights.

Leading 30-21 at the half, CCS steadily pulled away for the 60-38 final score.

Adding to the CCS scoring was Abigail Brazeal with four points and Emilee Reed and Hale Petrie with two points each. E. Buchanan had a double-double when she added 10 rebounds to the stats.
