The Mineral Wells High School Rams will try and get back on the winning track tonight – and keep their postseason hopes alive – when the square off against the Boswell Pioneers in the friendly confines of the MWHS gym.

The Rams, now 11-13 overall, desperately need a win to keep pace in the race for District 6-4A's fourth-place playoff berth. The Rams are 4-5 in loop play and trail Springtown by one game heading into the final two weeks of the season.

In Boswell, Mineral Wells will be facing a team that is struggling to find its way. The Pioneers enter the game having won just seven of their 22 games this season – and just two of their nine outings in 6-4A action.

The Mineral Wells Lady Rams will try and play the spoiler role this evening, beginning at 6 p.m., when they face Boswell. Mineral Wells can al but eliminate the Lady Pioneers from the postseason race with a win.

Boswell enters the matchup sporting a 5-6 record in district, and tied with Birdville for the final playoff berth.

The Lady Rams, 11-16 overall, will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak. The team is 2-9 in district play.
