Xavier Harrison and Levi Butler led the way in the win against Newcastle pouring in 22 points each with Harrison dominating the interior and Butler missing up his with long-range bombs hitting on target five times.
Garford jumped out to a 27-10 first-quarter lead as Tanner Ford and Harrison scored six points each to start the first-frame run. Marc Matthews, Micah Manley, and Cody Lemley also got in on the action with four points each and Josue Torres (2) and Butler’s (1) points had seven Rabbits on the scoreboard early.
The Rabbit turned up the defense after leading at halftime 50-16 by allowing just four third-quarter points, but Graford wasn’t done on offense either with a 28-point frame.
Manley scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half of play and he was joined in double figures by Matthews, who netted 11 points.
