Mineral Wells has been its own worst enemy in four games where the Rams were leading at the half only to half their opponent sneak up and force a tie.

The Rams established a 5-0 first-half lead and kept up the pressure until after Avila’s final goal that made it 8-0. The score was a thing of beauty as Avila heeled the ball over his head and into position to take a 20-yard shot for the score.
