Softball Seniors 2020,
Amanda, Lexus, Emma, Kristen, and Kloie. I am still trying to wrap my head around what happened to our season. It has been an honor and privilege to know you guys these past two years and get to coach you.
I will not forget all the memories and good times that we have had during games, on the bus rides, and at practice. Each one of you has left your mark on our program, and your hard work, dedication, and leadership will not go unnoticed.
No words can make up for losing the most exciting part of the season and getting to battle for your school with your team. Today vs. Brownwood would have been our district finale, senior night, and the start of a playoff run, so I wanted to take a moment to recognize you for everything that you have done for this program.
It is times like this that I want to remind you that I care more about you as a person than I ever could as a softball player. I want you to know that if you ever need anything, you can count on me, and I will be there for you.
I wish I could do something for you to let you take the field one more time as a Lady Ram, but I can only share how special you are and how much you mean to me and the entire Lady Ram softball program.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Coach Matt Antwine
Seniors, I can’t believe you are all already seniors. I have been with you since the beginning and coached several of you in more than one sport.
Seniors, this was supposed to be your season. Win, lose or draw, it was yours. Your time to shine and leave your mark on Lady Ram Softball. While it might be hard to see the mark you’ve made, each one of you has left a lasting impression on this team!
We had the largest group of freshman athletes ever join our program this year, and each senior mentored or positively impacted each one of them. Even when you faced adversity, you stepped onto the field with confidence every time. Your hard work in the off-season and more proved your dedication and investment in this program.
Even though we all hate the ending of this chapter, a new one is beginning for you all as you embark on this new journey. Congratulations on this accomplishment.
I honestly cannot wait to see the mark all of you make on the world! I feel so very honored and blessed to have been your coach!
Just know if you ever need anything, anything at all I’m here! Love you,
Coach Brandie Campbell
Seniors, All of the early mornings, late night, long bus rides, meals shared, TikTok’s made, tears shed, and memories made have come to this one moment. YOUR SEASON. While this season may have been shorter than hoped, it was YOUR season.
I hope that you take pride and confidence in the fact that you gave it 100% every time you put on that uniform or stepped on the field. As you embark on the next chapter of your lives, I hope that you take the lessons you learned on the field and in the cages to guide you. You will all do incredible things; I know this for a fact. If you ever need anything at all, I’m always around. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me be a part of YOUR SEASON,
Coach Taylor Jennings
